This was an absolutely brilliant place to stay. Martina and Patsy were wonderful hosts, very kind, & ready to help at any moment. Martina is a great cook! Homemade soda bread was delicious and Patsy's performance playing the fiddle was a great addition to our stay. It is beautifully located near Donegal Town and away from noisy streets. We loved our stay here! Would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a place to stay during their travels. Thank you so much Martina and Patsy for your wonderful hospitality!

Two West Australians who spent a night here and loved all the B & Bs they stayed at during their 2 weeks travelling in Ireland think this was the best one. All facilities were excellent, the views were fantastic and the landlady could not have been more helpful or charming. A wonderful example of Irish hospitality.

We spent a wonderful time in Drumcorroy House. Patsi and Martina have been very kind to us. The House is fantastic and the breakfast is "ñam,ñam"(as Javier says)
We hope to return there someday.
Many thx for all!!

Hi Martina & Patsy,
We hope you are both well.
Just a quick note to say a very big thank-you for your kind hospitality on Saturday.
David and I both enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back soon (depending on the farming!!)
If we know of anyone visiting Donegal and in need of somewhere to stay, we will certainly be recommending yourselves.
Take Care.
David & Alison
P.S We hope Patsy got his housework finished on Sunday!!

Martina and Patsy,
Thank you for such a wonderful stay at the Drumcorroy House! Everyday we talk about how much we loved your B&B. You definitely made us feel comfortable and welcome. Your breakfast and brown bread was the best we had during our trip to Ireland. We already decided we will stay at the Drumcorroy House again the next time we travel to Ireland! :)

We send you some pictures of shearing at your house. We are now back home, All our B&B's were good (except for one in Gort), but the most pleasant was yours because we have spoken with you and seen a little of your life. We should have pictured Patsy when he has played violin for the two german on honeymoon. We have met them again in Kylemore Abbey in Connemara and we have spoken with them and given them out address. Kindest regards and until we meet again Slainte.

Our family stayed at the Drumcorroy House with Martina and Patsy in March, 2009. We were very satisfied with the accomodations and their warm hospitality. We particularly enjoyed the good food, fiddle playing by Patsy and our visit to see the sheep and lambs. We give Drumcorry House our highest recommendation. Thank you Martina and Patsy!

We highly recommend Drumcorroy House - other B & Bs can feel like you are sleeping at a small hotel, but Martina and Patsy are great hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and quite special.
We stayed for 3 nights in June 2008 at the end of a 3 week trip. Martina made us a special breakfast, during which Patsy played the fiddle. We even got to bottle-feed two orphan lambs penned in their yard! We would do it again!

I highley recommend Drumcorroy Farmhouse as the best B@B stay my wife and I had during our three weeks in Ireland.
Thank you Martina and Patsy I couldent have asked for better hosts than both of you. Martina with your breakfasts with home-made brown bread and Patsy's fiddle playing and both of your super outgoing personalities, we had an amazing stay. Hightly recommended.

Hello Martina and Patsy (and dogs)
It has taken a while since arriving home (Sydney, Australia) to get settled into routine. Thanks, again, for being such fabulous hosts. While I had stayed with you before in 2005 it was my wife's first trip in Ireland and she loved it. I have a feeling the lovely morning we had chatting in your sun room is going to work out expensive as Mary Lou is already measuring up our pagola with the aim of turning it into something like yours (although we will be looking at a back fence). Hope your trip went well and that Patsy survived without you.
I will send a post card. I truly hope I get to return.

Hi there! Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay with you. I have written to the Irish Farmhouse holidays people to say as much, though I ommitted the bit about the double bed. We have just laughed SO much about it and no doubt you have too! Our time with you was brilliant, we really enjoyed the sheepdog demo and the fiddleplaying and the best part was yourselves and your great sense of humour - many thanks once again!

The Drumcorroy House and our hosts, Martina and Patsy, lived up to our expectations. The room was lovely. The breakfasts with the view of the mountains was perfect. Patsy took us out to the sheep to show us what his Border Collies could do. Martina suggested a pub in Donegal with great, traditional Irish music and we went every evening. The weather didn't cooperate, but everything else made for a very nice stay in Donegal.

What a wonderful find and what a wonderful couple! Thank you Patsy and Martina for everything from the warm welcome to the waves at the moment we left. It was au revoir rather than goodbye, we will be back! The accomodation was perfect in every way, the breakfast was scruptious and generously portioned. The after breakfast musical interludes as Patsy played the fiddle and both he and Martina entertained us with anecdotes will long remain with us. Thank you too for the tour of the farm, especially the lambs and the calves. It was good to meet (and eat) with other guests. This is a gem of a find and demonstrates Irish hospitality and humour at its best. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and Donegal town retains its charm and has avoided the 21st century chain stores. Thank you so much and we look forward to our return, meanwhile we strongly recommend you to others.

We had a great time . Martina and Patsy you were so kind to us and expecially kind to our 2 little ones. Patsy you treated my children as kindley as their own 'Pop' would here at home in New Jerse. You were both patient with the antics of our children and we will not forget our stay with you. Your hospitality will remain with us in our memories of Ireland what a beautiful country. Thank you very much. We hope to see you again some time and tell all our friends if going to Ireland to make Drumcorroy Farmhouse in Donegal a must to stay in for at least 3-4 days.

Oh my goodness, how we miss the two of you! The time we spent in your lovely home was entirely too short. We wish we had known, when we booked our reservations, what we know now, we would have stayed with you several days or longer. We met a lot of wonderful people in Ireland, but you will be in our hearts forever. Your hospitality, homemade bread, fiddle playing and dog/sheep demonstration was more than we could ever have hoped for. Sure hope we will have the opportunity to meet you in Nashville, Tennessee, as we discussed, to hear some good ole'country music. Can't wait to see you again.
Warmest personal regards,
Judy & David

June 2003. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is so tranquil sitting all warm and snug looking out over the hills with the breathtaking scenery. The potatoe bread for breakfast was delicious and will keep us all day while motorcycling all round Donegal country. All the best to you both.
P.S. Patsy gave us a personal show of how he would work the sheepdog Bill. Amazing how they work togeather with whistling it get the sheep to go the right way, Fantastic. Thank you very much Waht a great place to be.
